A large number of football clubs will have either a one minute silence or one minute applause before the start of tomorrow's matches as a tribute to the Macclesfield manager, Keith Alexander.
Probably the most poignant silence will be at Edgar Street where Hereford United play Macclesfield. But many other clubs will also have a tribute and the Football League have asked that all sides wear black armbands.
Meanwhile Lincoln City will have their own tribute to Keith Alexander next Friday evening before their game with Hereford United.
Alexander led the Imps to four successive play-offs in his time with the club.
A giant screen will be erected so that supporters can watch highlights from Alexander's time at Sincil Bank.
There will be a minute's applause just before the game starts.
Finally it has been announced that Keith Alexander`s funeral will take place on Monday 15th March at Lincoln Cathedral with the service beginning at 2:00pm.
