The Conference say they are to release a statement today about Chester's future "in accordance with Membership Rule 8.6 regarding the failure to fulfil two fixtures." Former Lincoln and Huddersfield manager Peter Jackson has also been linked to the post in a temporary capacity.
Northampton have lost the services of goalkeeper coach Simon Brown after he decided to resume his playing career. He is expected to sign for a non-league club shortly. Forest Green say they are owed money by Notts County for the FA Cup match between the sides. Between this and the Chester postponement, cashflow is tight for the Gumpers at the moment.
Torquay have signed former Wolves and Celtic defender Mo Camara until the end of the season after he left St Mirren during the January window. The Gulls have lost the services of loan defender Sam Cox after he was recalled by Spurs. Chesterfield have extended the loan of winger Dominic Green for another month. The 20 year old has scored in his last two games.
Lincoln will not be renewing the loan of Notts County striker Delroy Facey for financial reasons. He scored once in nine appearances but the club have recently signed fellow forward Steven Lennon.
