Rotherham are six points adrift in third after a 2-2 draw with Burton, with Notts County and Dagenham two points behind them with the Daggers drawing 1-1 at Grimsby. Aldershot take sixth place from Chesterfield with a 1-0 win over the Spireites, with Bury only kept out of seventh by goal difference after a 2-0 win over fast fading Barnet. At the other end of the form table Morecambe won again, 2-0 over Port Vale, to move within two points of the play-offs.
Down the bottom Darlington lost 1-0 at home to Bradford with their safety gap up to 11 points after Lincoln claimed a goalless draw with Crewe, while the Mariners are four points short. Torquay squandered an early lead to lose 4-2 at Accrington, while Cheltenham moved up a place but also wasted points with a 2-2 draw with Northampton.
In the Conference Chester fought tooth and nail, having a man sent off, to claim a goalless draw with Luton in front of 1,358 - 809 of them home fans. Oxford retained their five point lead at the top with a 4-2 win over Ebbsfleet, while Stevenage beat Kidderminster 2-0 to keep second place. Forest Green beat Rushden 1-0, but are still five points the wrong side of the relegation line.
