Bulls Beaten By Magpies

The Bulls lost today's League Two match at Edgar Street 2-0 to Notts County.

A foul by Kasper Schmeichel turned the game, ultimately against the Bulls. He was only booked when bringing down Marc Pugh when he appeared to be the last man, and promptly saved Ryan Valentine's penalty well to turn the game, and the momentum, to the Magpies. Goals from Craig Westcarr and Mike Edwards cemented the points with the Bulls managing only one shot on target in the entire match.

The game was watched by another low crowd of 2,727, with 454 from Notts County, and the fare served up would have done little to persuade many to come again.

Full report later.
