Accrington have not ruled out selling players to ease their financial problems. Despite being on the verge of clearing their tax debt, and facing US side Austin Aztecs in a fundraiser tonight, the club have an estimated £500,000 in other debts to address. Cheltenham are to resign Bristol City midfielder Frankie Artus on a new loan spell. He left the club injured three weeks ago. Meanwhile Edgar Street favourite, Anthony Elding, is reported to have joined up with former boss Steve Evans at Conference club Crawley Town on a loan deal until January. Elding is currently out of favour at Crewe.
Jimmy Harvey has confirmed to the press that Luton approached him for their vacant manager's job the day after he was unveiled as Chester boss. Stevenage have met with supporters to explore ways to improve matchday atmosphere. Among the ideas are more drums and flags, with the supporters raising £400 to buy them.
