Langley trialing with Mansfield

Richard Langley is about to have a trial with Mansfield.

The former Queens Park Rangers midfielder is looking for a permanent deal after trails at various clubs including Hereford United.

When at Edgar Street he played in the pre-season friendly against Southampton.

Meanwhile the recent behind closed doors friendly at Edgar Street against Cardiff City may have helped Josh Magennis find a new club.

A Grimsby scout was at the game when Magennis, described as Cardiff City’s teenage strike ace, scored two goals against the Bulls.
