News Round Up

Rochdale expect a £175,000 windfall on top of their £100,000 sale of Adam Le Fondre after Bristol Rovers sold Rickie Lambert to Southampton. Dale held a 25% sell-on from the deal that took him to the Memorial Ground three years ago. Notts County have denied making a bid for Sol Campbell, and have also rubbished claims that Dietmar Hamann is about to join the club.

Crewe boss Gudjon Thordarson has blasted fans that booed his side off at half time on Saturday: "Some of my players tell me it's better to play away as the fans that follow us there support the side." The Railwaymen want to sign veteran defender Chris Lucketti on loan. Departed Cambridge chairman George Rolls says that he has withdrawn his financial support for the club. His Trade Recruitment company was sponsoring the stadium.

Bournemouth's local paper has handed in a 700 name petition to the Football League to get the club's transfer embargo overturned.
