Burton Want Maghoma

Burton boss Paul Peschisolido wants Bulls trialist Jacques Maghoma, but admits their budget could scupper a deal.

The former Spurs midfielder holds joint British and Congolese nationality, and played 77 minutes for Burton on Saturday leaving him as the star performer in the match against Derby. Peschisolido told their official site:

"There is a chance that Jacques could be with us for next season however we are on a tight budget. You have got to remember that the boy has come from Spurs last year and has been a part of the first team squad when Martin Jol was in charge. The wages he was on there are obviously a lot bigger than anything we would be able to afford so he would have to be sensible with his wage demands and then we can maybe sit down and see where we go but it is not going to be an easy one.

"We have already done well to get him to come up here and have a look around the facilities we have got and to give him the level of training that we have done over the last week or so and so it is to be hoped that money wont become an issue."
