Hayes Sees 'Easy' Run-In For Iron

Scunthorpe forward Paul Hayes believes his side has one of the easier run-ins of the promotion chasing sides.

And he tells the Scunthorpe Telegraph that 'easy' run starts with the Bulls tomorrow: "We've probably got the easiest run in out of everyone. The majority of our games are at home and we've only got two of the top seven to play.

"That works in our favour and it's good to have our game in hand at home to Hereford tomorrow, who are second bottom in the league. If we play like we have been doing in the past few games, there's no doubt we can come away winners.

"We know we're good enough to be in the play-offs this season. Unfortunately our consistency recently hasn't been as good as what it should be, but we've played well in the last three games.

"We played well against Stockport and got a good win, we were fantastic for 45 minutes at Peterborough and then on Saturday it was a good solid performance all round."
