Yeovil Promise "Many Changes"

Yeovil chairman John Fry has issued a vague statement promising many changes at the club. Part of that statement reads:

It is clearly obvious from the dire financial state of clubs around us we are currently operating under very tough conditions and in order for Yeovil Town FC to compete at the highest level there will be many changes at Huish Park over the next few months.

Our club depends upon the honesty and commitment of its staff working together on very limited resources. Trust and integrity are essential ingredients in the running of any business. This is now being tested in our football club at the highest level.

With the statement suggesting that there are 'trust and integrity' issues within the club, doubts remain over the future of manager Russell Slade. Their win today moved them eight points clear of the drop zone, while Slade himself would only comment after the match: "Issues need to be kept in-house" while saying he wants to stay at the club.

Yeovil fans have reacted with contempt for the statement claiming that the timing of the release of the statement, at kick-off of today's match, was deliberate. Glovers fans were reported to have sung 'you can shove your statement up your a**e' during the match and were vocal in their support of Slade.
