Meredith To Leave Leamington

Leamington have agreed that Hereford born Dan Meredith can leave the club. They report that 'Dan will be released from his option agreement to pursue other opportunities'.

Right back Meredith is 26.

Following discussions between Dan Meredith and Scott Easterlow, the club can confirm it has been mutually agreed that Dan will be released from his option agreement to pursue other opportunities.

Since initially joining on loan from West Bromwich Albion at the start of 2019 before making that move permanent in the following summer, Dan has amassed 251 appearances for the club, scoring 4 goals.

Dan has played a vital part in Leamington sides over the years, often referred to as a swashbuckling right back and picked up the Directors’ and Players’ Player of the Season awards for the 2025/26 campaign.

Leamington Manager Scott Easterlow said “Dan has been a fan favourite and one of the most consistent players at the club for a long time. Whilst we are naturally sad to see him leave, he does so with everyone’s best wishes.”
