Hereford United manager Graham Turner will be hopeful that he can find at least one defender on an emergency loan before Tuesday evening when the Bulls have a potentially difficult match against Leeds United at Edgar Street. All three of Turner's central defenders were injuried this afternoon at Cheltenham.
"The loss of the defenders really put us under pressure," admitted Turner as reported by ITV..
"If you look at the make-up of the side in the second half we had a midfielder playing right-back, a midfielder playing centre-half and a right-back playing centre-half.
"We were all over the place but showed a lot of resilience and it was an absolutely magnificent performance.
"Psychologically it will do us a bit of good but physically it's draining and we've got to start on Monday looking for another centre half.
"That's the difficulty because all three could be missing on Tuesday against Leeds and if there's any match where you want defenders that's one of them."
