Bulls sign tricky National League winger

Hereford have added to their attacking options with the signing of winger Kai Williams following his departure from Tamworth.

The 24-year-old was part of the Tamworth side that earned promotion to the National League, with his pace and direct play on the left flank catching the eye.

Williams, described by the Lambs as a tricky winger, came through the youth ranks at Coventry City and has picked up a range of experience across non-league football. His previous clubs include Coventry United, Bedworth Town, Stratford Town and Barwell.

A move to Telford United in 2021 saw him step up to National League North, where his performances led to a switch to Tamworth.

He was a regular part of the Lambs’ success in 2023/24 as they won the National League North title but left after his contract expired.

Bulls boss Paul Caddis told the club's official website Williams was a long-term target and described him as a player who will bring pace and work ethic to the squad.

Williams becomes the latest addition to Caddis’ squad ahead of the 2024/25 National League North season, joining two other new faces; defender Keenan Quansah and Mitchell Roberts.

It comes after wingers Jaiden White and Yusifu Ceesay turned down deals to stay at Edgar Street and signed for new clubs.
