News Round Up

Southend goalkeeper Steve Mildenhall will miss at least a month after being diagnosed with ligament damage in his ankle. Carlisle have signed Bristol City winger Jennison Myrie-Williams on a months loan following his return from Cheltenham. Leicester have signed full back Bruno Berner on a contract until the end of next season. The former Swiss international is a free agent after being released from Ewood Park in the summer.

Ex-Bull Richard O'Kelly is second favourite behind Stuart Watkiss for the vacant Grimsby job. O'Kelly spent the last season of his footballing career at Blundell Park. Brighton will have to find another £10million to fund their new stadium after the internals needed a redesign to comply with new legislation that has come into force since the original 2001 application. Larger concourses and better disabled access will push the price tag to £60million.

The latest Team of the Week features no Bulls. Southend full back Dan Harding is named for his performance against the Bulls, and there are two nods each for Millwall, Leeds, and Walsall. Leicester have been ordered to pay Bury an initial £100,000 for midfielder Nicky Adams. The fee could rise to £225,000 based on clauses, plus a 15% sell-on.
