Hooper Wants More Goals

Scunthorpe striker Gary Hooper has spoken to their official site about tomorrow's return to Edgar Street:

"There are only about five players I know that are still at Hereford this season as most of them were loan players like me. They perform well at home and it should be a good game.

"I don't see why we can't get another win on Saturday. We are scoring a good number of goals, we have a good defence and can keep clean sheets. All the lads are buzzing and really wanting to play.

"Its nice to get carried away at the minute as we are doing well, but it is a long season and we just want to get as many results as possible. Sometimes against the lower clubs teams can take it easy but we know we can't afford to do that."

"It would be nice to score on my return, personally I just want to score as many goals as I can this season, and obviously it would be nice to finish top scorer too."

Hooper won't be the only striker to be playing against a former loan club. Steve Guinan had a loan spell at Glanford Park in 1999, scoring once from three appearances while still a Nottm Forest player.
