Adkins Respects Turner

Speaking to their official site Scunthorpe boss Nigel Adkins admitted tomorrow's match would be hard, but is confident his side can win:

'We know Saturday's game will be a difficult game for several reasons, but we view it as an opportunity. As long as the attitude is right and we give our best then it gives us an opportunity. If we work through our process goals, and we have in training this week, then it gives us the opportunity of getting the outcome goal of winning the game.

'I have a massive respect for Graham Turner and what he has achieved at that football club. I remember 96/97 when they got relegated from the Football League and it has taken them along time to turn it round. Having got back in the league, they have been promoted again, so huge praise must be given.

'I know not to ever underestimate the opposition, yes they might be in the bottom position in this moment in time, but you have to earn the right to play. We can't expect to turn up and win the game because that doesn't happen. We will go there in a confident mood but also respecting the opposition.'
