Preview: Bulls vs Bury

The Bulls entertain Bury on Saturday looking to complete a double over Alan Knill's side.

The Shakers are another side to change manager since the Bulls last played them, when a last minute Theo Robinson goal beat Chris Casper's side in December. The Bulls have won two of the three games between the sides since the Bulls return to League Two, with the other a draw.

The Bulls will be looking for a full three points from the game, but may have to settle for another narrow victory as in recent weeks. The Bulls' strikers have managed a solitary Gary Hooper strike, at Accrington, in the last five games and a tightened Bury defence won't be looking to gift any chances like the Bulls have been grateful for in recent weeks.

Since Chris Casper's departure, Alan Knill has recruited three players on loan to bolster a lacklustre side. Veteran Efe Sodje, young Charlton keeper Darren Randolph, and forward Adam Rooney have come in to good effect with the side earning 17 points from 30 with Knill in charge. They earned only two points from thirty in Casper's last ten games in charge. Prize asset Andy Bishop remains at Gigg Lane despite heavy interest from higher graded sides, and his 23 goals this season have kept interest in him high.

Hereford United vs Bury, Edgar Street, Saturday 22nd March, 3.00pm.
