Shergar has 'Special Talent' - Mowbray

West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Mowbray appears very pleased with Sherjill MacDonald's start at Hereford United. He thinks the striker has 'special talent'.

"Let's hope Sherjill goes and scores another hat-trick!" Mowbray told the Albion Official Website.

"We were aware we were putting him into a league that we believe he is much better than. The fact he has gone there and scored some goals suggests he is. But the boy needed to play games. He needed to get his confidence and belief back.

"We could have sent him to a Championship club where he might not have played instantly. He might have sat on the bench and got bit parts. But he has gone to Hereford where he has got games and has done exceptionally well. I haven’t seen the games but I will get both of them sent to me to watch so I have had the feedback.

"I believe he has got a special talent.

"He has done well for Hereford so far and let's hope he has got an important part to play for us. But he has also got a big job to get in front of Phillips, Miller, Bednar and Beattie.

"That's why he was allowed to go out on loan, because we have got other strikers in front of him at the moment."
