Previewing tonight's game on Sky Sports News, Garry Birtles agreeing that the Bulls were the in-form side:
"Without a doubt, if their home form was anything like (the away form) they'd be a lot closer to MK Dons. They can win away but they've struggled at home so Hereford will come here, with their away record, thinking they've got a pretty good chance of turning things around here. But with the weather conditions it's always a great leveller - it's windy, it's been raining, the pitch is a bit wet. It's a great evening for football and one that can provide quite a few goals.
"(Jack Lester's) been fantastic for them. I've just been talking to someone before and they're calling it Lesterfield at the moment because he's virtually a one man team. Since his arrival from Nottm Forest he's been teriffic for them. He can play as an out-and-out striker, behind the front two, or in midfield. He's a great 100% pro and they're lucky to have him here."
The experts, bookies, and the stats are predicting goals tonight, with nearly four goals a game being the average at Saltergate this season. You can get a best price even money for three or more goals while 2/1 is available on the Bulls to win this evening, with Chesterfield 6/4 and the draw 12/5.
