Chesterfield beat the Bulls 4-0 in tonight's one-sided League Two match at Saltergate.
It wasn't so much Bulls as calves in the first half as the muddy and windy conditions saw several Bulls players struggle to keep their feet as Jack Lester mastered the herd to score two after an assist for the other. Only a string of good saves from Wayne Brown stopped the beating becoming a rout before Brendan Moloney slammed home a fourth in injury time.
The only bright point of the evening for Bulls fans was a 15 minute cameo from Clint Easton, his first appearance of 2008 after injury. The Bulls remain in fourth place in the table but could drop as low as seventh before they play their next League match on the 30th at home to Barnet.
