Notts County have banned six people, two for life, after trouble at their pre-season friendly with Nottm Forest. The bans mean they cannot watch County home or away. Chester have signed Liverpool striker Craig Lindfield on loan for a month. The teenager was previously on loan at Notts County, where he scored once in four games.

MK Dons have extended the loans of Mustafa Carayol and Keiran Murphy to Crawley until the end of the season. Cardiff have sold striker Steven MacLean to Plymouth for £500,000 as their money troubles continue to bite. The Scottish striker scored only once in 8 starts and ten sub appearances since a free transfer move in the summer.

Wrexham have extended the loan of Stoke midfielder Robbie Garrett until the end of the season. The battling teenager has been on loan at the Racecourse for virtually all the last 12 months, making 22 appearances. Such is the change of personnel at the Racecourse, only six of the 13 players used by Wrexham yesterday were with the club at the end of 2007.

Brentford boss Andy Scott has blasted Accrington after yesterday's match at the Fraser Eagle Stadium was called off just 90 minutes before kick-off. Referee Andy Haines had no hesitation in calling the game off when he arrived, after Accrington told Brentford there would be no problem and up to 900 fans made the trip. Scott told the press: "It's a farce. Turning up now you look at it and it's not playable. There was no rain in the last 24 hours but it is still that bad. A decision should have been made on Friday."
