The Bulls entertain struggling Lincoln City in a League Two match this Saturday.
The Imps may be at the wrong end of the table now, but they have the historical edge over the Bulls with 16 wins compared to the Bulls' five and nine draws. The Bulls did win the last meeting, at Sincil Bank, 4-1 in February thanks largely to a Steve Guinan hat-trick - their only win on the road against the Imps.
The Bulls are unlikely to have any selection headaches with a number of players injured. Karl Broadhurst, Luke Webb, and Clint Easton are back in training and could be called on but the lack of fit bodies around Edgar Street was reflected in the useage of 17 year old Craig Jones as a sub for the first time on Tuesday.
The Imps have struggled for goals rather than defensive problems in recent weeks. Back to back four goal tankings at the start of the season set the tone for a poor season so far but manager Peter Jackson has steadied the ship, winning their last two League matches. They have scored just seven goals in nine games on the road, and are yet to keep a clean sheet either home or away. Striker Jamie Forrester, with sixteen League goals last season, has only one League goal this time round.
Hereford United vs Lincoln City, Edgar Street, Saturday 8th December, 3.00pm.
