About the artist:
Tony Mac is a local artist who has supported United for over 30 years, and he has witnessed some of The Bulls greatest games over the years. After seeing John Charles striding majestically around the Edgar Street turf in the classic all white shirt and black shorts, no other English team has ever come close to capturing the football heart of the artist.
There have been many superb occasions over the years, from winning the Third Division to the 1-1 draw against Arsenal, but nothing can come close to the day when the heroes of ’72, Tyler, Addison, Potter and Radford to name but a few, conjured up a piece of football magic that will live on in the memory of the artist ‘til the Bulls come home.
