Wrexham will see plans for the redevelopment of their Racecourse home finalised today. A 5,000 seater stand will replace the last terracing at the ground to turn it into a 15,000 seat arena, with 300 bedsits for students built in an eight storey block next door. Accrington have lost the services of Ian Craney after Swansea invoked a recall clause. Craney only played three times in five weeks due to injury, but fitness worries at the Swans have seen him return.
Mansfield will strengthen their commercial side once the takeover is completed. The club had previously handed over their commerical activities to a local radio station, but have already appointed a commercial manager plus an assistant with a number of other jobs to follow. Leeds have named John Gannon as a coach. The former Notts County assistant boss left Meadow Lane two weeks ago.
Bradford are hunting for fans that made racist chants during their recent match at Morecambe. The chant mocked the Chinese cockle pickers that died in Morecambe Bay but the club have denied that over 100 fans were guilty, saying only half a dozen are being sought.
