Turner to keep faith with McCombe

Graham Turner will keep faith with John McCombe who took over from Dean Beckwith when the latter suffered his jaw injury at Chester last Friday.

"McCombe has done ok in training, in reserve matches and against Yeovil and Chester. He deserves his chance," Turner told the Hereford Times.

"It should be an interesting game on Saturday. MK Dons are a very efficient side with a sprinking of very good players.

"They will be a handful but so are we when we play to our potential.

"I am sure they will be well supported at Edgar Street and it would be nice to think that we could get in excess of 3,000 of our own supporters."

Turner watched the Dons game last Sunday at their new stadium.

"They have really done it with a lot of quality and have not got a lot of change out of £60m.

"Every seat is a lovely, comfortable padded seat with plenty of leg-room and plenty of space either side."

He also revealed that he had spoken to several players pre-season who are now with the Dons and admitted that once they had come in for them "we didn't have a prayer of them coming here."

Meanwhile Hereford's Trent McClenahan didn't come off the bench for the Olyroos in their recent game which was drawn 0-0.
