Bradford are to ask for FIFA's help over the proposed transfer of Chilean striker Willy Topp. The 21 year old has agreed a two year deal but his current Chilean club are not responding to contact over the player. Stockport striker Anthony Elding has denied he is seeking a move away from the club, telling the press: "I don't want away and I haven't contacted other clubs. There are things going on at the club which I will be questioning but I'm fully committed."
Northwich have succeeded in their application for Administration, triggering a ten point penalty that effectively relegates the club. One player spoke anonymously to the media, stating that three injured players had their wages halved by chairman Mike Connett against their contract stipulations. Wrexham chairman Neville Dickins has confirmed that manager Brian Carey's job is on the line if results do not improve. The club are third from bottom, where they finished last season after a last day victory.
Bradford have tightened their no-smoking policy, meaning that anyone caught smoking inside the ground will be automatically ejected while anyone wishing to leave the stadium for a cigarette will not be readmitted. Rochdale have signed MK Dons striker Scott Taylor on loan for a month. The much travelled striker has struggled for games since a pre-season injury, making his only appearance this season in the JPT.
