Both Graham Turner and Steve Evans spoke to the press after Saturday's game at Hereford which ended in a 3-0 win for the Bulls over Boston.
"We were expecting a hard game against Boston but it is also a big relief after going a long time without a win," said Turner.
"In the second half we got a bit sharper and deserved to win the game."
Evans said "In the second half we seemed to run out of ideas.
"We lacked energy and after Hereford had scored their second goal some of our players started to feel sorry for themselves.
"You cannot do that in a relegation situation."
Meanwhile Hereford's Simon Travis made the League Two team of the week.
