Torquay chief Keith Curle and Boston boss Steve Evans are confident of their respective clubs' survival as they enter the final phase of the season.
Curle told the local press that he didn't envisage it, but saw the script for the season ending with Torquay's survival: "Four wins is not how I thought I would end the season when I took the job but I feel it's written in the script that we will win four and stay up - and what a script that would be and a good way to end the season.
"The players are giving everything at the moment and they are still going out there and expressing themselves on the pitch even in the position we are in. We still have games left and the performances the players are giving me at the moment, well I can't ask anymore of them."
Meanwhile, Evans is bouyant after their win over Macclesfield: "It's a big three points that moves us in the right direction. I've always been confident we can stay up and that remains the case.
"But I'm sure there will still be a lot of chopping and changing. I felt we could have been five or six up at half-time and was worried we didn't take enough of our chances. Thankfully we managed to get a third goal before Macclesfield scored, otherwise it would have been a bit twitchy.
"Overall there were performances by a lot of players, some of whom were far from fully fit. But given all the problems we are facing it's something we've just got to get on with on a week-to-week basis."
The Bulls are due to face both sides in the final four games, with Boston visiting next Saturday while Torquay are the hosts for the final game of the season.
