Tuesday 21st for Cup Replay

The date for the replay of this afternoon's drawn game at the Gay Meadow will be Tuesday week, November 21st with a 7.45pm kick-off.

The only reason the time and date might change would be if Sky Sports decide to televise the replay. At present this seems highly unlikely although there have only been five drawn games so far.

Shrewsbury say that 1414 Hereford fans attended the game this afternoon. The official attendance was 5574.

Andy Williams was the only player to be carded. He received a yellow for 'unsporting behaviour'. The card was probably deserved but a Shrewsbury player should have been carded a few minutes earlier when Williams was fouled close to the dug-outs.

Hereford had 16 goal attempts whereas Shrewsbury were credited with 18 shots. Both teams had 5 shots on target.

All the Hereford players were given a 'six' or a 'seven' by the PA for their performance. However probably for the first time this season Hereford were penalised for more fouls than their opponents, 16 against 14.
