Ex-Bulls striker Steve Guinan looks set to leave Cheltenham Town after refusing a one year contract offer from the Whaddon Road club.
Guinan, 30, wants a two year deal to get a bigger house, telling the Western Daily Press: "We are not a million miles apart but I don't think we are going to reach an agreement, so as far as I am concerned, I think I will be leaving. My wife and my children are my priority - I have a young son and my wife is six months pregnant so I need to buy a bigger house. But getting a mortgage when you only have a one-year contract is a nightmare.
"It's a shame after the excitement and furore of the last few days, but it does not look like the manager is going to budge. But that's football - I have had 11 clubs and it looks like I'll be joining my 12th.
"I have got a few decent offers on the table and they are all a minimum of two years. One is from a League One club, I have four or five from League Two and about the three quarters of the Conference have been in touch! The disappointing thing is that I have not asked for any more money (from Cheltenham) even though we have gone up.
"I think I have done a good job this season and I don't think there is anyone else in the squad who plays my role, although the manager may have been lining other people up. I hoped that scoring the winning goals in the play-off final and semi-final would persuade the manager, but that doesn't seem to be the case."
The paper reports that the Bulls are one of the clubs to have made contact with Guinan.
