Halifax through to Leicester

Halifax are through to the Conference play-off final. Tonights second-leg play-off game at Grays ended 2-2.

Halifax go to the final on aggregate 5-4. The Shaymen defeated Grays 3-2 last Saturday in the first leg.

Former Hereford United striker, John Grant, missed a chance for Halifax late in the game from around four yards out. Grant came on as a substitute.

And the Shayman's goalkeeper Jon Kennedy, who was loosely connected with Hereford early last season, looked ill at ease on several occasions when under pressure.

Only 2886 fans bothered to watch the game.
