Interesting Choices for Turner

Hereford United manager, Graham Turner, faces an interesting choice of whom to lead the Bulls attack on Saturday after Danny Carey-Bertram's two goals in the game against Morecambe on Tuesday evening.

In that game, Carey-Bertram, who hadn't started a first team game since the end of January, partnered Adam Stansfield in attack. Stansfield, who appeared to tire as the game went on, was replaced by Stuart Fleetwood during the second-half, whereas Carey-Bertram played the full ninety minutes.

Turner also brought on Andy Williams to replace Daryl Taylor. Williams had an excellent spell on the right wing and Turner might opt to play him there on Saturday. However Taylor returns to Walsall after Saturday's game and Turner could decide to use the loanee for at least part of the match.

Taylor has disappointed some supporters with a tendancy to lose the ball or fail to deliver a useful cross. Yet he is perhaps the fastest winger seen at Edgar Street for sometime and could become a useful player given time.

The Bulls are expected to be without Tony James, who has a groin injury and Nicky Nicolau, who injured his ankle in training. Andy Ferrell will also miss out as he is still suspended.

There are few signs that either Guy Ipoua or Stacy Coldicott are yet match fit. Speculation that Coldicott, who is on a two year deal, could be leaving Edgar Street by mutual agreement has not been confirmed.

Meanwhile Dagenham and Redbridge has offered new contacts to several players that are expected to be in their side that visits Edgar Street on Saturday.

Left-back Scott Griffiths has agreed a deal until June 2009, whilst midfielder Sam Saunders and striker Paul Benson have signed contract extensions until June 2008.

The Daggers defeated Halifax last Saturday 1-0.
