Tamworth have announced that they will go full time from next season.
After making a number of high profile signings during the January transfer window it was always on the cards that Tamworth would make the step up.
No more than three part-time clubs will remain in the Conference next season, with Southport also declaring their intentions to go full-time in December.
Speaking after a board meeting to the official Tamworth site, General Manager Russ Moore said: "This can only be seen as a positive step forward for the club. There will undoubtedbly be some changes to the way we run as a club behind the scenes but these will only help Tamworth FC move forward and become more professional."
Tamworth have also confirmed that both manager Mark Cooper and assistant Richard Dryden have signed new two year deals.
