The Tamworth care home crisis has deepened, with another veteran losing his bed.
Nicky Summerbee has joined Paul Merson in wanting his career to die with dignity somewhere less public than in front of the Tamworth supporters. He leaves four appearance, a pair of muddy boots, and a zimmer frame.
"Super" Bob Taylor, another veteran, has not been seen in the care home since a recent cold snap forced him to seek refuge in a nearby public house.
The local MP was unavailable for comment.
