Macclesfield's future looks a little more secure after the club agreed a compromise with the FA over their £250,000 debt.
Macclesfield were found guilty in December over false invoices relating to construction work at their ground, and were ordered to repay a £195,000 loan and a £62,000 fine.
The FA have accepted an offer from Macclesfield to repay £130,000 immediately, with the other £65,000 of the loan due in October. The fine will be settled by December 2008.
