While Kidderminster boss Stuart Watkiss has already admitted that his club's budget hinges on an FA Cup run to balance the books, Aldershot manager Terry Brown has also indicated that a Cup run would give a welcome financial boost to the Shots: "It's the most important game of the year, without a doubt. That's not a cliche, as in 'the next game's always the most important', but our league form's been very poor and we've been hanging in there. We need to lift the supporters - we'd like to win for them, and of course for the bank manager. I've even worn an FA Cup jumper all week, just to remind the players the Cup is vitally important!"
Gravesend manager Liam Daish expects a tough game at Kettering: "I watched them beat St Albans 4-0. It could have gone either way, but Kettering took their chances, so it's going to be a difficult game. If we play anything like the way we played against Tamworth, we won't be in the hat for the next round."
In other news Crewe have loaned a fourth player to a Conference club, with 19 year old striker Kyle Wilson joining Altrincham for a month, with James Olsen departing the Moss Lane club.
