Former Hereford United Director George Hyde died yesterday after a long battle with cancer, he was 69. A long standing supporter of Hereford United George was twice on the Board Of Directors finishing his most recent stint to return to active local Council life to lead the Independent group on Herefordshire Council, and become Deputy Leader of the Council, as one of the Councillors for Tupsley.
