Stronger Opposition on Saturday
Hereford United will have a chance to prove to supporters how pre-season preparations are going when Swansea City visit Edgar Street on Saturday afternoon in the Bulls second pre-season friendly.
The Swans have brought in several new players recently and are said to be just two players short for a full squad of 23.
Brian Murphy takes over the number 1 shirt from Roger Freestone whilst the new signings are
Sam Ricketts , Kevin Austin , Adrian Forbes , Gary Fosken and Garry Monk.
Ricketts, who will have played against Hereford United in the Conference, came to the Vetch Field from Telford where he played in 52 out of their 56 games last season.
Meanwhile rumours circulating at Ludlow on Monday evening that a deal with goalkeeper Andy Marriot to move to Edgar Street could not be reached appear to be correct.
