Bulls aim for fourth consecutive clean sheet
Hereford United will be intending to keep yet another clean sheet as they play hosts to Wrexham tomorrow afternoon at Edgar Street, kick off 3pm. It will be the first time that the two sides have met since Hereford knocked Wrexham out of the FA cup in front of BBC cameras 1-0 three seasons ago. Former United captain Ian Wright knocked in the winner.
Matt Baker will return to Edgar Street, and will be hoping to get a start so that he can impress the Robins boss as Baker looks to replace Andy Dibble as number one at the Racecourse. Baker did himself no harm when he saved two penalties in his last outing in the Isle of Man tournament. He may, however find playing at Edgar Street a little more difficult if the home supporters get on his back.
Carlos Edwards is out of the game as he has just undergone surgery for a damaged cruciate knee ligament and midfielder Matt Crowell will also miss out with an ankle injury. Chris Llewellyn is a doubt with an ankle injury suffered in training.
United will be without Danny Carey-Bertram again, who will miss out with a knee injury, but Ryan Green is expected to return after sitting out Tuesday evening's game with Evesham United. Trialists will again get the chance to impress the coaching staff at Hereford, this time against stronger opposition than in the last outing. It is unknown to whether any new trialists will be on show, but it is known that Graham Turner wants to bring in an experienced goalkeeper and maybe a new striker.
Admission prices for tomorrows game are the same in the stands or on the terraces, £7 for adults and £4 for concessions.
