Ex-Bulls player upsets Premier League side in FA Cup

Former Hereford player Jon Brady has taken Port Vale to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup after upsetting Premier League side Sunderland.

The Valiants - who are bottom of League One - beat the Black Cats 1-0. It comes just days after they beat Bristol City in a rearranged fourth round game, and is the first time they've reached the last eight of the competition since 1954.

Brady - who only took over Port Vale in January - joined Hereford in June 2005 before leaving to sign for Cambridge the following January.
