A close to full house in Radfords for this afternoon's Fans Forum.
Chairman Chris Ammonds and General Manager Jamie Griffiths were on the top table.
In essence little new news, more a detailed look at the current problems facing the club both on and off the pitch.
Ammonds explained what the club were doing about the pitch.
Next week a section of the playing surface in the Len Weston/Meadow End corner is to be completely replaced. It's the wettest area of the pitch.
A specialist contractor is due on Monday to come in and firstly strip away the surface and the soil underneath. Then gravel, 'dry' soil and turf will be instated. Hopefully this will cure the problem.
The chairman then spoke about what the club were doing to get games played. A plan to use other grounds is about to be submitted to the National League. He could not confirm any details until the plan was approved.
However he hoped that the pitch work described above will allow games to take place again on Edgar Street as soon as possible.
The club would lose a lot of income each time a game was played elsewhere, sometime the club are hoping to avoid.
Turning to the position (23rd) Hereford find themselves in the League, Ammonds felt that the club could get out of the relegation zone.
He was hopeful manager Paul Caddis would bring in a few more players to boost the squad. But he didn't have any information on any new players.
The club had tried to bring players in but, for one reason or another, players they had enquired about had gone elsewhere or in two particular cases stayed with their current club.
Caddis was not at the forum as he was at a training session.
A number of questions from the floor which the Chairman answered including one about the finances and could more money be invested in the club.
With agreement from the shareholders the capital in the club could be increased to £1M. it is currently just under £600,000.
The meeting was reminded that not long ago the club had just £5K but since Ammonds has been chair the reserves have increased.
The meeting lasted for over 90 minutes.
