Hereford manager Aaron Downes is hopeful that he can announce a new signing ahead of tomorrow evening's game against Chester which is being played at Sixways.
Whilst there is a view that another striker is needed, Downes has said the the player he hopes to sign is not a striker.
"I think there will be one in before Chester," said Downes.
"It's not a striker."
Downes also said he hoped Gus Mufuta and Lawson D'Ath should be fit enough to at least play some part in the game.
Mitch Roberts wasn't on the bench last Saturday.
"He's just weighing up options."
