Kings Lynn chairman Stephen Cleeve has said he needs £50,000 to pay the bills before the end of June.
And he wants supporters to help him out according to the Eastern Daily Press.
Manager Adam Lakeland said he had faith in the Chairman.
The paper reported that 'Cleeve says he needs £50,000 to pay the bills before the end of June and has asked fans to consider paying an extra £10 on top of the usual entrance fee for the Good Friday game at home to Scunthorpe.'
In his matchday programme notes for Saturday's game against Chorley, Cleeve said he has two deals worth £300,000 lined up for next season.
“It was like this in January last year when we were bottom of the league and the chairman always finds a way and I have that trust in him," said Lakeland.
“I have nothing but respect and trust in the chairman. It's the reason
why I came down here 20 months ago because he's a really good guy and
he's always got the club's best interests at heart and he's put a lot of
his own personal wealth into this club and he continues to do so, along
with obviously (investor) Joe (Chua). So, he'll find a way because he
always does.”
