Ilkeston Keeper Played For Hereford

 

Next Saturday Ilkeston Town travel to Edgar Street for an FA Cup tie. And one of their players will be familiar to the Hereford supporters.

Matt Yates, the keeper, came to Hereford on loan from Derby County during the 2018/19 season.

Yates, now 25, joined Ilkeston in July 2023.

After his loan spell with Hereford he had spells with Telford and Gainsborough. 

Yesterday Ilkeston defeated Whitby 5-1.
