Nathan Cameron leading the Hereford side out |
Former Hereford captain Nathan Cameron has signed for National League North side Rushall Olympic.
Centre-back Cameron, who made 41 appearances for the Bulls last season after joining in the summer, opted to leave Hereford after bringing experience to their defence.
The 32-year-old has more than 200 Football League appearances under his belt and has been with The Pics during pre-season.
The club said he has impressed manager Adam Stevens with his experience, ability and how well he has fit into the group instantly.
“Once we knew that Nathan was available, it was a no-brainer for us,” admitted Stevens.
“He’s an experienced centre-half who talks and organises for us, which he’s already shown during his time with us this pre-season.
“He’s a local boy with a career that speaks for itself; he’ll be a massive voice amongst our young group.”
Before joining Hereford, Cameron had played for clubs including Coventry City, Bury and Kidderminster Harriers.
Lewis Hudson, who joined Hereford from Rushall in January, has taken on the captain's armband for the coming season.
