Comfortable opening day win for lively Hereford

Hereford have bagged all three points on the opening day of the season, comfortably beating South Shields 3-0 at Edgar Street.

With Montel Gibson opening the scoring in the first half, Andy Williams doubled the lead after the break. Yusifu Ceesay then made it three to complete the scoring, a beautiful assist coming from Tate Campbell.

Despite creating chances, Shields failed to do enough to stop Hereford starting their season off on the right note.
