Hereford FC chairman Chris Ammonds has said that it is hoped that the new floodlights for Edgar Street will be installed by the end of September.
"It's been progressing really well and will make a huge difference," said Ammonds.
"These things never happen quite as quickly as you want them to, the process always feels a little bit slower than you would like it to be.
"We're now optimistic that we may well have installation in September given a fair wind.
"It will make an enomous difference.
"The new floodlights will be installed with the current ones remaining in situ in the short term before they are dealt with. There are no timescales in taking the old floodlights down."
Ammonds also said that Squad Builder has now raised £36,000. There have been 201 contributers to date.
1150 season tickets have been sold.
The new borehole is working. In time it should save the club a lot of money.
