Former Hereford defender Kennedy Digie will be playing National League football again after signing for Tamworth. The National League North champions said they were delighted to have signed 27-year-old, 6ft 3in central defender from play-off-qualifying Alfreton Town.
Described as 'big and powerful' by the Reds, Digie left Hereford to join National League Altrincham before joining Gloucester and Alfreton. He had been offered a new deal by Alfreton but now joins fellow former Bulls Jordan Cullinane-Liburd, Kyle Finn and Jamie Willets at the National League North champions.
Tim Flowers, who had a short spell as manager at Gloucester City with Yan Klukowski as his assistant last season, has been named as Redditch United's new boss. The former England goalkeeper, 57, should bring stability to the step three club, chairman David Faulkner said.
Hereford supporters are reminded that sales of early bird season tickets finish late on Friday.
