Aurio Teixeira was Hereford's man of the match against Alfreton last night. Afterwards he spoke about the game,
"It was one of those funny games," he said.
"We started off really bright, first ten fifteen minutes.
"We got an early goal but then we conceded and from there it was like a car crash situation.
"But second half the boys regrouped and we just knew what we had to do and I think we deserved a point at the end."
The first half:
"I just felt our decision making was just off.
"Their first goal was kind of my fault which ended up leading to the goal.
"And then communication, decision making from there on.
"But it's football, you've just got to move on really quickly with it which we ended up doing.
"We knew what we had to do, we knew we had to go and score two or more goals to try and get a point or win the game.
"At the end of the day it's a positive to come from 3-1 down, you'd take a point wouldn't you.
"We knew what Alfreton were going to do, they were going to come here and work hard, slow the game down which most teams are going to do because everyone around the league knows we are really strong at home.
"They did their job well, they did what they had to do but I felt we wanted it more at the end.
"Skinner came and saved us."
