Hereford manager Paul Caddis brought in Dom McHale on loan from Scarborough just in time for Saturday's game against Farsley Celtic.
The well travelled mid-fielder had a good game.
"I spoke to the manager at Scarborough and he had absolutely no problems with Dom," said Caddis.
"Tope knows him really well.
"We've only seen him for 90 minutes but I was really pleased with his performance, really pleased with his attitude, with his work ethic, his quality at times, he's got magnificent feet.
"He's not played a lot of football of late, he's been coming off the bench.
"We're hoping to get him as sharp as we possibly can."
